Generation Z: INVOLVED

The uncertaincies during the financial crisis makes that this generation care less about money and more about their environment and preserving earth. They are looking for meaning in life, not possesions. If you let them choose between a month long no pocketmoney or a month no social media, almost everybody choose to have no pocketmoney. Young entrepeneurs from generation Z start their businesses not to gain money, but to add something good to the world. For example the company GreenClaim or Poppy’s Parade.

This is understandable because this is a observational generation. They see a lot of the world – because of traveling and the internet - and also see what is wrong. They might seem meaningless sometimes, don’t stand for something in particular like for example the flowerpower movement in the 60’s and 70’s, but that does not mean they don’t care, they just act in another way. They do not protest, but act by creative entrepeneurships, by creating new concepts that change the world in small steps.
